Cobbly — terms of use
Last updated: 16 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Aurora Piloni, who publishes Cobbly under the name “ideopus” (Via Città di Prato 17, 00146 Roma, Italy; info@ideopus.it). By installing or playing Cobbly you accept them. They are short because the game is simple: no account, no purchases, and nothing you write is published by the game.
How the game handles your data is in the privacy policy.
The game
Cobbly is free, and is paid for by the ads it shows. You receive a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to install it and play it on your devices, for your own use and not for business.
The game — its puzzles, its look, its code and its name — belongs to Aurora Piloni, and all rights are reserved. The fonts and the software packages it contains belong to their authors, under the licences listed in the “licenses” row of “you”.
You may share the postcards and the screenshots of your games. You may not:
- copy, sell, rent or distribute the game, or parts of it;
- take it apart or change it, except where the law allows you to;
- fake views or taps on the ads, or use the game to cheat advertisers.
Age
Cobbly is played from age 13: the game checks your age once, as the privacy policy explains, and does not open for anyone younger. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should know these terms and agree to them.
Ads
The ads are chosen and served by Google and its ad partners, not by us. We ask Google to show only ads suitable for everyone, but we do not see each ad before it appears, and what an ad says is the advertiser's responsibility. An ad you tap takes you outside the game, where other terms apply. The video for a hint is optional: you watch it only if you choose to.
Updates and support
We update the game through Google Play to fix it, to improve it, or because a law or Google requires it. Updates are free. Security problems are fixed for at least five years from the game's first public release, on 14 October 2026: until at least 14 October 2031.
If an update would make the game noticeably worse for you, we say so at least 30 days before, on this page and in the update notes on Google Play. You can then stop using the game and uninstall it.
If something does not work
If the game does not work as described in these terms or on its Google Play page, you have the legal guarantee that consumer law gives you for digital content: write to info@ideopus.it and we will bring it into conformity, or you can end the agreement by uninstalling the game. Nothing in these terms takes away a right that the law of your country gives you as a consumer.
Liability
We take care in making the game, but we cannot promise that it will always work, on every phone and without interruption: the game is free, and it depends on Android, Google Play and Google's ads. Within the limits the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as progress lost because data was cleared or a phone was changed.
This never limits our liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or anything else the law does not allow to be limited.
Ending
You can stop at any time: uninstall the game, and if you want your data erased, write to us as the privacy policy says. We may stop distributing the game; the copy you have keeps working on your phone, because the game needs no server of ours. We may end your licence only if you break these terms seriously, for example by cheating the ads.
If these terms change
New versions are published on this page, with their date. If a change matters to you, we say so at least 30 days before it applies, on this page and in the update notes on Google Play. If you do not agree, you can stop using the game and uninstall it.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim before the courts of the place where you live. There is no arbitration and no waiver of collective actions.
Before going to court, write to info@ideopus.it: most problems are solved by an email, and we reply within 30 days.
